Jimmy Fallon is this year’s Emmy Awards host.It got me thinking about how funny TV can be and how I’ve abandoned most TV watching (except for the shows I watch on HBO religiously, i.e. “Hard Knocks”, “Hung” etc…). I’m dying for the new season of TV to start. I miss new episodes of “30 Rock” and “Parks and Rec”. The promise of new television programming is unveiled every Fall, and of most shows that are to premiere, the AMC program, “the Walking Dead”, looks extremely promising. From what I can gather from the preview, the story itself allows plenty of room for growth, despite treading old “Post-Apocalyptic” themes (think “The Road” meets “28 Days Later”). In the end, all we really want is a new network series that reteams Bob Saget, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier.
